The work at Guarlford site involved the diversion of the current water system that was going through a small treatment facility at Penny Lane and diverting it to a larger treatment facility in Malvern, this work would then improve the quality of the water flowing into the river. The work consisted of installing 2000m of new pipe, new valves, new control panel & telemetry equipment which allowed all data signals to be sent to the main control room so any faults or issue can be highlighted and remotely picked up. Once the new system was installed and commissioned the old treatment facility was then decommissioned and the ground reinstated.
