The tank will collect and temporarily store excess rainwater during periods of heavy rainfall, helping to slow the flow and regulate the discharge into the existing drainage system. This reduces the risk of flooding, relieves pressure on the local drainage infrastructure, and contributes to improving the quality of water entering nearby rivers, supporting the long-term goal of creating safer, cleaner, and more accessible bathing environments for the community. This Included the installation of a new control panel, associated equipment & telemetry installation that will send signals to the main Control Room to remotely highlight any faults on the specific site.
